Here at Canoe England, we are constantly looking at ways in which we can improve our members’ magazine, Canoe Focus.
As a result, an opportunity has arisen to be part of the 2010 Canoe Focus Review Group.
As a member of the group, you will help to review and feedback on each issue, after it has been published. Initially, your feedback will be collected via an electronic feedback form and then a follow-up telephone call, if necessary. The form should take no longer than 20 minutes to complete, and you will need to go through this process six times throughout the year; once for each issue.
Feedback topics can cover anything and everything; from what you thought about the front cover, to your likes and dislikes of the features, right down to the design of the news pages – Whatever you’ve got to say, we want to hear it!
Required skills
Good reading and writing skills, along with a basic knowledge of and enthusiasm for canoeing are essential. Some previous volunteering experience is also desirable. Communication with the group, including the feedback process, will be done via email, so access to an email address is also required.
How to get involved
To register your interest, please email Coral Jackson at coral.jackson@bcu.org.uk with approximately 250 words, explaining why you are suitable for the role.
Closing Date: Wednesday 17th February.
